PS3 Slim Helps Revitalize Sales in Japan, Europe

This is some news Sony fans have been waiting for. Since the launch of the PS3 Slim in Japan, it has sold over 150,000 units in just the first three days. That's almost twice as much as what the system sold when it first launched, with only 88,000 units. You've gotta believe that Sony is enjoying this resurgence in sales.

In Europe, the PS3's sales has increased a healthy 1000%, and that's just from the price drop, since these numbers were recoreded before the Slim model released.

Along with the new system, Sony has also launched a new ad campaign, one part seen above. They're trying to market their system to absolutely everyone, not just limiting it to one or two groups of people. Below is a new television ad depicting gaming bloggers consistently parading Sony with rumors they've heard, and I think it's quite funny.
