Halo:Reach Game Editions

"Halo: Reach Delivers the Ultimate Collector’s Experience with Limited and Legendary Game Editions"

Bungie has been working with McFarlane Toys to make some very distinct versions of Halo:Reach, so that no matter what edition you claim, you will have a little surprise inside.

Starting today, you can preorder the Limited and Legendary Editions.  Both editions have custom content on Halo:Reach and the Halo Universe.

The Standard edition will go for $59.99, the Limited for $79.99, and the Legendary Edition for $149.99

I'm wondering what the Armor Ability they are including with the Legendary Edition they are going to include.  That might make the Legendary worth the almost 3 times the price of just the game alone. For a better break down, and Pictures:

Nintendo and Activision Own the Show in December and 2009

Everyone thought Nintendo was down and out after the Game Cube, and said that the initial sales triumphs of the Wii were a fad that would fade away.

This can be safely put to bed. Nintendo moved 3.81 million Wii's in December, almost 3:1 over the closest console competitor the Play Station 3. They sold 3.31 million DS's in the month as well.

Paypal now accepted on Xbox Live

Posted by: rasp1 on: 08/10/2009 03:39 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Those among us that do not like to put your credit card any where on line now, but have a hankering for Xbox Live now have a new choice. Payments made to Xbox Live can now be done via your paypal account. For those not in the know, if you want to buy anything on Xbox live you have to have Microsoft Points. These points equate to 400 pt to $5 USD.

There are some pesky details of course. The first being that you can only use this via xbox.com, not directly from the dash board(not really a draw back per-say, just how would you integrate that on the dashboard?) And you can only purchase points, but beyond paying your subscription fee to Microsoft, that is the only other thing besides points you can get. And you can only use this feature if you are a resident of the USA, but lets be real people, who outside of the US really uses the 360?

You can also use multiple paypal accounts with one live account, but I'm not sure if you can use multiple Live accounts with one Paypal account. That is something that will have to be tested. Choice is good. You can now buy games via Amazon, xbox.com, and the Dashboard.

This is of course part of the bigger Xbox Live Dashboard Update that will be hitting the masses on Tue, Aug 11th. All we need now is a way for it to dispense Gamer Fuel on demand and it will be perfect.
